On Sunday, March 23, former Northwood High School standout Ava Giglio’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at Catamount Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at Catamount Softball Complex against Queens Royals.
