Central Washington Wildcats, featuring former Mater Dei High School star Emily Shaw, secured an 81-73 win over the Vanguard Lions on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
Nicholson Arena hosted the contest, scheduled for 7:30 p.m., marking the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
The Wildcats will return to Nicholson Arena for their next game, set for Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m.
