UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, featuring former Mater Dei High School standout Jaelyn Toledo, secured a 9-2 victory over the Cal Poly Mustangs in their NCAA Division I softball matchup on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.

Bob Janssen Field hosted the game, marking the third time these teams faced each other this season. The Gauchos previously shut out the Mustangs 8-0 on Saturday, March 14.

Toledo went 1-for-3 at the plate, tallying two runs, recording one RBI, and drawing a walk.

The Gauchos are set to play their next game against the California Baptist Lancers at John C. Funk Softball Stadium on Tuesday, March 24, at 5:30 p.m.
