U.S. Representative Lou Correa, who serves California’s 46th district in Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and policy concerns through a series of posts on August 11, 2025.
In a post made at 15:01 UTC, Correa described his engagement with senior voters at Emerald Court, stating: “It was a pleasure to listen to the concerns and to answer questions from senior voters at Emerald Court residents.  I value their wisdom, advice and counsel as I work on national policy.”
Later that day, at 21:53 UTC, Correa commented on an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office regarding proposed legislation associated with former President Trump. He wrote: “The non-partisan congressional Budget Office (CBO) just finished their analysis of President Trump’s big beautiful bill.

Lou Correa has represented California’s 46th district in Congress since replacing Loretta Sánchez in 2017. Before serving in Congress, he held positions in the California State Assembly from 1998 to 2004, the Orange County Board of Supervisors from 2005 to 2006, and the California Senate from 2006 to 2014. Born in East Los Angeles in 1958 and currently residing in Santa Ana, Correa holds degrees from California State University, Fullerton (BA) and UCLA (JD).
