On Monday, March 17, former Mater Dei High School standout Jimmy De Anda’s current college team, the Utah Valley Wolverines, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Embry–Riddle AZ Eagles.

The game took place at UCCU Ballpark. This was their fourth matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6:45 p.m. at Bannerwood Baseball Park against Seattle Redhawks.
