On Saturday, Dec. 6, former Mater Dei High School standout Rylan Vagana’s current collegiate team the Texas Tech Red Raiders won 34-7 against the BYU Cougars in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.

The game took place at Jones AT&T Stadium at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the BYU Cougars in the tournament.
