On Wednesday, March 19, former Mater Dei High School standout Meaali‘i Amosa’s current collegiate team the UC San Diego Tritons lost 68-56 against the Southern Lady Jaguars in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Pauley Pavilion, this was the first game against the Southern Lady Jaguars during the championship.

Meaali‘i Amosa’s hometown is Garden Grove and game position is forward.
