On Saturday, April 25, at 3 p.m., former Mater Dei High School standout Sienna Acosta and her Penn Quakers secured a 4-1 victory against the Columbia Lions in NCAA Division I softball.
Penn Park served as the venue for the contest, marking the Quakers’ second meeting with the Lions this season. Earlier in the day, the Quakers fell 6-3 in a 12:30 p.m. matchup.
Acosta pitched seven innings, surrendering one earned run and issuing a single walk.
The Quakers are set to face the Lions again in their next game at Penn Park on Sunday, April 26.
