Lou Correa, the U.S. Congressional representative for California’s 46th district, has expressed his views on various social issues through a series of social media posts. On April 7, 2025, Correa emphasized the significant contributions of hundreds of thousands of legal residents: “They are law-abiding taxpayers, and they’ve earned the opportunity to become U.S. citizens.” Correa advocates for financing that would enable more residents to achieve citizenship.
