Rep. Lou Correa, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 46th district, took to social media to discuss recent local engagements and broader community concerns. Correa has been a representative since 2017, following a varied career in California’s state and local government. Below are recent statements shared by Correa on issues impacting his constituents.
On April 18, Correa shared that he met with members of the Templo Calvario Congregation in Santa Ana. They discussed efforts to protect consumers and combat fraud targeting seniors in Orange County. He emphasized his commitment, stating, “Orange County seniors deserve transparency—and I’ll keep fighting in Congress to protect them.”
Later on the same day, Correa expressed concerns about the Social Security Administration. He noted that he is hearing from neighbors about new changes causing significant delays and additional ID verification requirements. Correa assured residents that his office is available to assist with any Social Security issues, by saying, “If you need help with this or any Social Security issue, don’t hesitate to call my office at (714) 559-6190.”
On April 20, Correa extended warm greetings to his constituents and others around the country by wishing them a blessed Easter Sunday. He stated, “On this day of rebirth and renewal, I’m wishing all who celebrate a blessed Easter Sunday, here in Orange County and across the country—from my family, to yours!”
