Former Mater Dei High School star Jaelyn Toledo helped lead her current UC Santa Barbara Gauchos team to an 8-0 victory over the Cal Poly Mustangs in NCAA Division I softball on Saturday, March 14, at 3:30 p.m.

The matchup took place at Bob Janssen Field and marked their second meeting with the Mustangs this season. The Gauchos prevailed 4-1 in their earlier contest on Saturday, March 14.

Toledo contributed two hits in four at-bats with a run scored and an RBI.

The Gauchos are set to play Cal Poly Mustangs again on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at Bob Janssen Field.
