UC Santa Barbara’s Jaelyn Toledo contributes to 9-0 win over Cal State Northridge

Former Mater Dei High School standout Jaelyn Toledo helped lead the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos to a 9-0 victory Saturday, April 18, at 2:30 p.m. in their NCAA Division I softball contest against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.

The matchup at Campus Diamond marked their second game against the Matadors this season. UC Santa Barbara claimed a 4-3 win in the prior contest at 12 p.m.

Toledo posted one hit in two plate appearances, registering two runs scored and one run batted in.

The Gauchos are slated to face the Matadors again at Campus Diamond on Sunday, April 19.
