On Saturday, March 14, the Vanguard Lions, featuring former Crean Lutheran High School standout Micaela Hanning, were defeated 81-73 by the Central Washington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest, held at Nicholson Arena at 7:30 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament meeting with the Central Washington Wildcats.
