Census Bureau: More women than men in Irvine city in 2019

Of the 273,157 people living in Irvine city in 2019, 51 percent (139,241) were women and 49 percent (133,916) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central OC Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 94,593-to-90,596. In the 65 and over age range, there were 15,206 females and 12,558 males.
