On Thursday, February 1, former Central Kitsap High School standout Fred Buckson’s current college team, the Vanguard Lions, lost 13-11 in their NAIA game against the Ave Maria Gyrenes.

The game took place in Glendale, Arizona. This was their first matchup against the Ave Maria Gyrenes this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, February 1 at 2:45 p.m. in Mesa, Arizona against Bellevue Bruins.
