Rep. Lou Correa addresses immigration uncertainty and educational advancements

Rep. Lou Correa, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California's 46th district since 2017, recently shared several updates and reflections through social media posts. His comments focused on community issues, educational developments, and expressions of gratitude during Thanksgiving.

On November 27, Rep. Correa highlighted the uncertain future faced by many immigrants within his community. He invited constituents to join him as he convenes experts to address questions and discuss upcoming challenges. In his message, he encouraged people to reach out to his office for inquiries: "Our community depends on—and is made up of—immigrants. But the future is uncertain for many of our neighbors."

Later that day, Rep. Correa participated in a "State of the District" breakfast with SAUSD and the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation. He expressed optimism about educational advancements in Santa Ana, emphasizing innovations and technological tools that will equip students for future contributions to their communities: "From exciting innovations to high-tech tools, the future of education in Santa Ana will prepare students to make their mark on our community and country!"

On November 28, Rep. Correa extended Thanksgiving wishes while reflecting on achievements within Orange County over the past year. He acknowledged efforts such as reducing drug prices, enhancing veteran care services, and advocating for a more secure border: "Today I’m giving thanks for our Orange County community...there's so much to be thankful for."
