Rep. Lou Correa, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 46th district, recently shared his views and activities through a series of tweets. His statements touched on significant legislative decisions and community engagement.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Lou Correa expressed his opposition to a particular legislative measure. He stated, "I just voted against a partisan continuing resolution that falls short of our promise to our seniors, veterans, and hard-working American taxpayers on Main Street."

The following day, on March 12, 2025, Correa shared insights from Scott Mechkowski, a retired ICE agent. Mechkowski commented on immigration policy by stating "If a child came here at eight years old and they're 35 now, living a productive life, supporting a family—we don't need to be deporting them."

Continuing his engagement with the community, Rep. Correa visited Centralia Elementary School as part of Read Across America week on March 13, 2025. He reflected on this experience by sharing "Last week, I joined Centralia Elementary School students and Read Across America to read some classics like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham." He expressed gratitude towards educators who inspire future leaders.
