Her statements covered the impact of natural disasters in Southern California, legislative developments affecting healthcare rights, and a call to remember historical atrocities.

On January 24, 2025, Brownley shared her experience assessing the damage caused by the Palisades Fire in Southern California. She expressed sympathy for those affected by the wildfires: "Recently, I joined my colleagues to assess the devastating impact of the #PalisadesFire. My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones, their homes, and their livelihoods in the wildfires ravaging Southern California."

Later that day, Brownley criticized a recent vote by House Republicans concerning healthcare providers. On January 24, she stated: "Yesterday, House Republicans voted to criminalize health care providers for offering life-saving care and to take critical medical decisions out of the hands of doctors and patients." She described H.R. 21 as an attack on reproductive rights.

On January 27, Brownley reflected on International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a call to action against antisemitism and hatred. She emphasized remembrance and commitment: "International Holocaust Remembrance Day calls us to reflect on a dark chapter in our world history.
