As a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 46th district, Correa continues to emphasize educational initiatives, recognize educational achievement, and celebrate the inspiring stories of community members.

On April 10, 2025, Correa discussed his visit with students in his Young Congressional Leaders program to Northgate Market headquarters. The visit aimed at educating youth about entrepreneurship, focusing on lessons regarding risk assessment and creativity. He emphasized the importance of encouraging young individuals to pursue their dreams with determination.

The following day, on April 11, 2025, Correa expressed his honor in hosting Dr. Atikah Osman, recognized as the National Assistant Principal of the Year. Dr. Osman serves at Saddleback High School, where she contributes significantly to the academic potential of her students. Correa extended his gratitude for her service to the next generation of students.

Later on April 11, Correa celebrated the 94th birthday of Cristina Prada, an Orange County community member. Prada's life reflects resilience and dedication, as Correa noted her journey of immigrating over 50 years ago, managing multiple jobs, purchasing a home, and enduring a battle with cancer since 2015.

Lou Correa, currently serving in the U.S. Congress, has been actively representing California's 46th district since 2017. Born in East Los Angeles in 1958, Correa completed his education at California State University, Fullerton, and received a law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has a long history of public service, with previous roles in the California State Assembly, California Senate, and Orange County Board of Supervisors.
