Congresswoman Julia Brownley, representing California's 26th district since 2013, recently expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Her remarks covered topics ranging from environmental concerns to economic policies and gender equality.

On March 5, 2025, Brownley highlighted the anniversary of Channel Islands National Park. She remarked, "Today marks the 45th anniversary of Channel Islands National Park – a stunning national treasure and a vital part of our community’s identity. But instead of celebrating, we’re forced to sound the alarm." She criticized the Trump Administration for its budget cuts affecting the National Park Service.

Later that day, she addressed economic issues related to tariffs introduced by Donald Trump. Brownley stated in her tweet, "Donald Trump promised to lower costs for American families on day one — instead, his new tariff scheme is doing the exact opposite." She argued that these tariffs have increased costs for American families on essential goods.

On March 8, 2025, coinciding with International Women’s Day, Brownley emphasized gender equality and women's rights. In her message, she said "This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women and girls around the world." She pledged support alongside her colleagues in the Democratic Women's Caucus against any threats to gender equality progress.
